![]() I came across this site for a restoration of a BMW 2002tii. The Golde sunroof in this BMW is remarkably similar to the one in the 1960 Thunderbird. In the article he mentions that the sliders are still available. They must be available from BMW I assume. They look like a bolt-on for the Squarebird sunroof.

![]() After reading the post on sliders from 2002tii BMW fitting our sunroofs I went to the local BMW dealer. Sure enough, they had them but by special order. I ordered one and it works. A bit shorter in length and it has plastic or vinyl in place of the fabric on our sliders. Price $10.67.

![]() Could you please post the BMW PN#? It is a rather long (maybe 11-digit) PN#.

![]() The BMW part # for the sliders is 54-12-1-815-185. My only concern is how well the vinyl will hold up. The 60 bird had fabric.

![]() I notice that the Bird Nest now lists 1960 Sun Roof Seals in their catalog, Page 5! I had not noticed that before.
