Default Transmission Fluid Cooling

Good Day All,

One of hte delivery guys at my job knows about my car and he mentioned that they did something to their engine to cool the transmission fluid. He said it helped with over-heating. Mine has been overheating this summer, but was curious to see what he was talking about.

Any ideas?

Just curious -- you're saying that your transmission has been overheating? How can you tell?

Smile overheating trans

It spits out the overflow, generally right on to your mufflers, creating a big white cloud of smoke. No too fun the first time you see it. I was climbing a mountain pass when it happened to me.
