Default Collectible Squarebirds Stuff!

Rob ~ Djweaz sent some pix of stuff relating to Squarebirds that he has picked up over the years. In fact, our Founder, Alexander Sosiak was big into Squarebird collectibles. He had a whole section on them in his Squarebirds folders. Here is a list, followed by a bunch of pix. It will take me two posts to post them all.

I have collected other Squarebird items such as 1:18th scale 1960 diecast cars bit they are easily found, so I didn’t add them. I also like collecting magazines old and new with squarebirds in them, finding them at swap meets and on EBay I’ve read that the Larry Watson 58 was in 20 magazines and cited custom of the year beating out George Barris’ wife’s custom 58. I found a key chain medallion from a 1959 show in Detroit for Ford Thunderbirds that one was a cool find and it went immediately into my keychain

Cool stuff there, well done!

BTW: Has anybody out there noticed how hard it is to find Flairbird ‘collectible’ stuff?
Took me ages to find a ‘66 Tbird kitset model.
