Default 1959 Thunderbird Convertible For Sale

Serial No. J9YJ116209. Optional factory 430 cu. in. engine. Mostly original except front disc brakes and two stage power disc brake booster. Most factory options including power steering, power brakes (Kelsey Hayes booster still in place and working), power windows, power seats (L & R), AC, sunburst wheel covers, windshield washers, exterior dress up kit, engine dress up kit, two sets of fender skirts (one painted and one chrome plated), aftermarket spare tire carrier (continental kit), aftermarket tonneau cover. Body color is Doeskin Beige, interior is Hickory Tan and White vinyl. Older restoration but a little TLC will return it to show condition. Winner of many awards. New seat covers, front seat cushion foam, door panels, carpets and trunk liner will be installed as a condition of sale. Total mileage unknown, probably in excess of 300K miles. Less than 10K miles on totally rebuilt engine and transmission. Currently has six auxiliary gauges: manifold vacuum, oil pressure, auxiliary vacuum (vacuum pump in oil pan works!), ammeter, voltmeter and tachometer. Auxiliary power outlet for GPS. Many visible engine components are chrome plated including air cleaner, coolant expansion tank, valley cover, fan shroud, power steering pump, generator, starter motor, oil pan. Cloth top is reasonable condition. Hydraulic top mechanism works smoothly. Fun vehicle to drive. A winner of many awards. A casualty of downsizing. Located near Niagara Falls ON and NY.
