So i took the top part of the steering column apart and found the other side of the horn wire, already taped with isolation tape. So it seems that a previous owner cut the wire and isolated it. At least i can splice the wire and be done with that. I also found the shift indicator light and the reason its not lit: the wire came out of the back of the fitting. I think i can make that work again, but was wondering if light should come out of the front of the indicator light, or only from the side? The front has some plastic, but when i shine a light behind it, no light passes.

Anybody know what the original brand of the horn is? Does it make a specific sound, or is it the same as modern horns?
