Default Dashboard Removal 1970 Galaxie 500

Hi All,
I'm needing some expert help on removing the dash in my 70 Galaxie. The right hand side of the steering column bottom plastic valance is not breaking loose for me. I would like any help or advice, I don't want to break this piece can save it. I already have the radio, speedo, and the front plastic piece with the wood grain, and the left bottom plastic valance removed. The left hand piece to the left of the steering column is removed also.

your help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the parts diagram. If you can let us know what part you are talking about it might help us answer your question.
