Default What is the CFM rating of the stock 4 barrel on 61 Bird

I have a 61 Bird and the carb is ruined, I am going to replace it with an Edelbrock, but I don't know what size to use. I don't want to starve the engine or over fuel it.

Default RE: What is the CFM rating of the stock 4 barrel on 61

The stock Autolites carburetors with the 1.12 inch venturis were 600 cfm for the 1958 to 1966 Thunderbirds with the FE engines 352-390.

If you can rebuild or get a new 4100, I would recommend it as it is reliable, good performing carburetor.
