Default '60 Tbird Of HD1960

Harvey ~ HD1960 just picked up this nice '60 Tbird up in Washington. Here are a couple of pix of it. It looks like it has a red and white interior.

Default Yes, Red and white Vinyl

Just started cleaning it last night. It runs ok, needs a rebuild, but the inside is partially re done, back seat and dash were done. Front grill has some dings, but overall nice ride for the money. Should have some better pics after the weekend....

She's a "survivor" too, that's more than a lot of people have.

Thanks for sharing the pics,

I appreciate the comments. Hopefully after some scrubbing I can get a bit better pics up. I thought it was a steal at 2,500....

Thumbs up Congrats

Congratulations Harvey,

Looking at the Bird she looks good for $2,500. The only thing now is how far you want to go with it & how much it's going to cost you.

Those 2 bent grille parts on the '60 T-Bird can be had from our vendors too. Or you might find a used match in a salvage yard or Ebay??

Default Seats

So I cleaned the vinyl over the weekend with soap and water, then Simple Green, the water rinse, the McGuires protectant. What a difference! Polished a bit of Chrome and gave her a bath. Still need to detail the carpets, but it looks 100% better inside. Anybody know a good source for the back dash? That is really cracked, but the rest outside the drivers seat (tear) looks pretty good. Looking forward to messing around with it more as the weather gets better. All the parts seem to be there, so that's nice. The bumpers are a bit dinged, and the engine could stand a rebuild, but it drives strong, and it appears everything but the clock works, even the vacuum wipers.

Looks like a later model intake manifold with a pcv setup. Does it have a two or four barrel carb.
