I hope the Emergency Brake wasn't too much on your injured hand. Soon, you'll be wrenching and really enjoying Lucille.

Thanks, Dave. After a while I got the hang of maneuvering her around with the emergency brake. Even though I only drove her off the field to the parking lot, it sure was nice to be moving her under her own power.

If you can believe it, that GTO (called "The Bishop") was actually a Fathers car! That thing had a lopey cam and sounded MEAN!

If you have trouble renting from U-haul, you can rent trailers from the local trailer dealer. I moved a tractor a few weeks ago with a car hauler from Big State Trailers in Pasadena (Texas). The only downside is they are only open M-F 8-5 and U-haul has longer hours and is open on Saturday. The U-haul also has the wheel straps for securing the load and with these other car haulers, you bring your own straps or chains. I really like the pictures also!

What a great bunch of cars! Love the FC Jeep truck with the dump bed and the 8 door Checker wagon. I saw two '57 Eldorados, a Brougham and a Biarritz like my Dad has and a '65 Barracuda like he had when I was a kid! The custom el Camino was interesting too.

The Jeep truck won best truck. He's an uncle of one of my good friends that went to the show with me.

Here's the official video from the car show. If you look closely at 0:14 seconds you can see me on the right polishing up the T-Bird

Here's a better video of Marcelo's car (click HERE) starting at ~4:08. Just after, you can see the diamond plates put on the ground after the trucks got stuck.

I'm glad you were able to enter and show your car this year, Marcelo. She looks fantastic in her new shoes. - Dave

Thanks Dave! I hadn't seen that video before. It was shot by one of my friends that came to the show.
