Default Air Filters Over the Counter?

hi!
referring to the stock air filter using the stock housing, 352 motor, do any of you have an equivalent # that will get you a filter over the counter at a part store? (Advanced, Autozone, Napa, . . . ) In other words as an alternative to odering one and paying higher price and shipping, as well as waiting.

The one I have shows C3VF-9601-A Autolite on it and I found a ton of equivalent #s on line at
http://www.hydraulicstore.com/index....ode%5D=3972193

which gives me hope but not focus.

I took my airfilter out to peek at it. Wasn't very dirty but holding it up to the light revealed pleats with open gaps where the folds used to be. Age may be more the cause than dirt.

thanks!

John

Also Fram CA154. Most auto stores aren't going to stock them but they can usually get them pretty quickly.

Thanks! I am going to try NAPA on the way home as I can go by there. Even if they don't stock it, stopping by another day is no big deal.

That would also fit the 430, right?
