Default Fan Blade Part Number

Can anyone who has a Ford parts book tell my what a Ford P/N F10962 is from -- or what it fits?

This is a 5 Blade Fan, and is said to be for a 1960 Ford 352, 390, 427. I'd like to know if it fits the 430.

The photo looks exactly like the one on my 430, but I have no measurements to go by as yet.

Thanks

I think AC equipped 352 & 430 Birds had 5 blade fans. I don't have a parts book.

Cool

Bart after checking in the Ford " Blue Book" 1949-1959, I cannot locate that part number so at least we know what it isn't.

The following is listed for future reference.

1958 352 8 cylinder 4 blade fan Non AC P/N 8600 Page 154
1959 430 8 cylinder 4 blade fan Non AC P/N 8600 Page 156

Hope this helps to eliminate what you have.

"8600" is simply the Ford base PN#. It is the letters & numbers which preceed & conclude that # which tells us what year, what car, etc.

Here are some pics of my fan blade Bart. On 1 of the 2 blades grouped away from the other 3, there is a single weight RIVOTED on mine:

Thanks to both of you.

Dan:
I don't have the fan that I referenced, but might buy it if mine is not balanced.

Jon
My stock fan has absolutely no balance weights anywhere. However, other photos that I've seen, show weights like the one you have.

I seems VERY unusual that my fan was made so perfectly, as to not need any counterweights on it. Hummmm!

I got some short fan bolts today. If I can do it early AM, I'm going to remove the fan and spacer and run the engine a few minutes to see if that eliminates the belt flopping on the AC pulley.

That wasn't my PN.

It was a PN from the guy who has that fan. I don't know where he got that PN from. I don't remember a PN on mine either.
