Default Tri-Power carb On A Super Marauder!

Look at what Mike ~ mstroylow just sent me in email! It is not off a Tbird but is on a Mercury Super Marauder that was just sold for $8,000 on eBay! Someone got themselves an extremely rare Tri-Power system on a 430MEL engine! When you go to the eBay link it will tell you it has been sold, but look down below and you will be able to see the pictures of the car, the engine and the Tri-Power carb. There is also a link to the Ford MEL Engine Forum. Check it out also.

The engine in this old Merc is practically priceless......... just take a look at the auction and enjoy the pictures........Mike

commonly referred to as the "Bulldozer" of the MEL series engines. The Super Marauder used three two-barrel carburetors. The 430 had a 4.30 in (109.2 mm) bore (same as the 383) and shared the 3.7 in (94 mm) stroke of the 410.
the first American production automobile engine to attain a 400 hp (298 kW) advertised rating.
