In response to a question on another thread that was starting to diverge a lot from the original topic, these are the rechromers that I have used who do good work. These professionals make the piece look like new again. They do not just grind down the piece and then rechrome it.

Hi,
I think I’m in right topic now. I have bent my scoop now and I have find out that it is out of help. I got a tip from Mike L about Bob’s Birdhouse, http://www.bobsbirdhouse.com. He have already chromed scoops for $95.00. I think this good alternative. He has other dress up parts to.

A T-Bird club member here in the UK purchased a full dress up kit for his 60 Bird and when he got home he found that it did not fit his Bird to well. So he had the cars original recromed for a better fit.
I think he got a full set from Pat Wilsons but not sure. Keep an eye on E-Bay as there was dress up parts for sale a short time back as the scoop went for $30 and the wiper wells $5 each!.

Thanks for the information. Much problems with this chrome parts I think. Maybe I go for the painted one. Let’s see what I can find at Pomona. Kevin, have you got any mail – posted from this board?

Sorry i still have not got your email so send it direct to the following kev1960tbird@aol.com . I am away until Monday in Scotland with a tour on my coach. Out of interest the coach company i work for has stage coach routes in Europe operating under Eurolines that i opperate but they are now looking at Sweden routes sailing from Harwich England. So this could be good.
