    Power steering hose grommet

Replaced a power steering hose on my 60 which is a bit smaller around than the old one and now both the pressure and return hoses slip in the rubber grommet they pass through that is attached to the frame. I think the hoses should be tight in the grommet. Can anyone advise?

    Thanks

Are you using the original rubber insulator. If so the holes are probably stretched to match the original hoses. I think the holes on the new insulators are smaller.

Thanks John. I forgot to mention that this is on the 430 engine. I don't know whether or not the grommet for the 352 is the same. I'll
have to buy one from a vendor to see.

      Thanks again
