1960 Cruise-o-matic for sale rebuilt

i removed the perfectly good working cruise-o-matic from my 352 , 1960 T-Bird and installed a 3-speed stick. So now I want to sell the automatic. I rebuilt it myself 3 years ago, had all new seals, pump gears. It has the original brass clutch discs, can't hurt it. i want $250.00 pllus shipping.

Checked with shipping, Fedex will take up to 150 lbs. The trans might be more than that complete but with the bell housing and convertor separate the main part should be around that so it could ship in 2 pieces. Must be drained and wrapped on a skid or something I think.

Are you trying to MAIL it?
Instead, choose a "common carrier" in your area and ship it in a semi truck. LTL rates are much cheaper than Fedex. If the trucking company needs commercial address, meet him at your church with a pickup truck. Most drivers will gladly give you a cell call to pinpoint his arrival time.

Some trucks will service neighborhoods but they may charge more. Semis need a space large enough to turn around and truck drivers are only obliged to deliver to the back of his trailer. - Dave

You can also list it on UShip. That's what I did when I was thinking about buying it. The cheapest quote I got was $275 to New Jersey.

My grandson and I made a 2x4 crate, then weighed the tranmission in the crate, 175#. Fed Ex said $178.00 to Carollton, tx. I did not know your adres. I may be able to put the converter in with the trans. Let me know.
