Welcome to one of our newest members, as of a few minutes ago. Carsten lives in Mexico, and as far as I know, is our first Squarebirds member in Mexico. Or at least the only one that is now active. Here is some information regarding Carsten. I hope to have some pictures of his '58 Tbird to post later on.
I am german, yet living and working in Mexico since almost 10 years now (wow, its amazing how fast time is flying, isnt it).
I have one 1958 Squarebird, Hardtop, and thats why I wanted to join the forum.
As a hobby, I restore classical cars here in Mexico. I own a small shop with a few people employed and I personally do a lot on the engines and the mechanics of these cars.
I mainly restore Mercedes classics like the Pagodas from the 60s, the 190SL and Pontons of the 50s, and several other years.
I only own that Tbird and another two Caddys from the 50s (a Eldo Biarritz 1957) as non european cars but I really love the design of the US cars from the 50s and early 60s.
