64/64 expansion tank OK on '58?

Can I use an expansion tank from a 64/65 TBird on my 1958 motor? (352)

I realize the appearance is a little difference (ribs) but the design is probably an improvement (couldn't be worse)

I am thinking of buying one on EBay for short money and getting it checked and possibly overhauled by Fomoco59's source in Endicott, NY and ending the leaking around the seams.

The expansion tanks on Ford's FE Family of engines, 332, 352, 390, 427, & 428 are interchangeable. You only problem may be matching the upper radiator hose but in most cases this should be easy.

      Ditto. I'm running one.
That is corr about the upr/hose.
Just get one for an early-mid 60's Galaxie
      or Merc 352/390.
      It's a stronger design
