    Windows not meeting

    Hi there.

On my 63 I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out why my drivers side windows don't meet up and "seal." If you look at the pic, you can see the gap. The drivers door looks pretty much lined up so I'm thinking it's the rear window that needs to be adjusted? It has power windows and it seems they go all the way up?

There is a stop that has to be adjusted so the quarter window lines up correctly. You need to remove the quarter trim panel to get access to it. If that doesn't fix it you may need to adjust the regulator equalizer bracket.

My 63 does the same thing? If I close the door and hold the drivers door window (not a great thing to do) it meets the rear quarter seal correctly. On mine it appears the top window seal on the drivers door was replaced and it does not fit correctly, pushing the window out. It is on my list of things to take apart.
