Finally doing the body work
You know what would look really pretty for an interior don't ya? A dash pad that matches the external paint color. The center console the same color as the dash pad and the exterior paint. That means that the center section of the rear seat would be the same color as the center console... with your seat and back rest panels being white and the front and back seat side panels would be the same color as your dash pad and center console.... or reverse it... Your dash pad white, your center console white, all the way through the center section of the back seat. The front and back seat and backrest panels would be the same color as your exterior paint. The front and back side panels around the white would be the same color as your exterior paint.. Something like that..
To give you an idea of what I am suggesting, here is the interior of my '59 Tbird. You could do it like this, or reverse the colors, depending on which color you want to be dominate inside the car. Jed did my steering wheel for me while they were doing the interior work. Look at the one picture and you will see that my door and back side panels have the perfect outline of a Thunderbird wing built into them... I even have white floor mats with a yellow long stem rose encased in clear plastic. They are for show and when driving I put the black rubber mats on top of them. Also, I replaced those black seat belts with white ones, encased in a plastic sleeve to keep them clean.
Now, envision your seat and back rests being the same color as your exterior paint and envision what the rest of the interior would look like... Or reverse the colors with your seat and back rests being white and envision what the rest would look like.
