    Power steering pressure relief spool

While putting my power steering pump back together, there is a large hex plug which houses the pressure relief spool and a spring. On each end of the spool is a boss to retain the spring... a long one and short one. which end goes into the housing and which end faces outwards? I know it matters...Martin

Ok...nevermind...I got it...short end out which holds the spring. A while back I had received a download of a manual that shows it. this forum is the best...
