What is the correct shade of white to paint the steering wheel of a 59 bird?

Hi There
I have seen on some other sites that the Air cleaner colour white is a similar colour to the steering wheel. I would not say these wheels are pure white more cream.

The color is a matter of interpretation. But if using either Colonial White or Winterset White would give you a good match. These would also be used on the air cleaner and fan for a non AC car.
I personally used the Colonial White which was a 57 color that was caried over to some 58 birds. I could supply the paint codes but not until Sat. as I am in Miss. for work.
