I can tell you for sure that is not the original engine in that car. It of a later year and application. Squarebird FE's had valve covers that were blank(in early 58) or said FORD. If you get some numbers off the intake and on the left front side of the block. We can tell you what you have.

That being said, all FE motos look alike. You can cheaply get a four V intake, new carb and camshaft have a good strong motor.
