    Firewall

    Hi,
The previous owner has turned the firewall on my car to Swiss cheese. There are holes chopped out bits all over the place. This is from a poor brake conversion.
Does anyone have a decent photo of the firewall around the master cylinder location to I can determine what holes should be there.

    Thanks

Here's a picture of my '59. The only holes should be where the vacuum hose goes through to the underdash booster and where the wire harness goes through the firewall.

These pics were during some other projects on my car but maybe it will be enough to see what you need. Hopefully others will have better pics.

There is an extra bracket on my booster in some of the pics that moves it out to clear the A/C box on the firewall so if you have the Bendix booster under the hood it might look a little different plus my booster has been modified to accept a different master cyl.

Was addding A/C here but you can see the brake mount in the background.

          Thanks for the photos.

There even more extra holes in my firewall than I thought.

I have a bunch of holes in my firewall also. Lord only knows what or why they are there. I bought a bunch of small plastic sheet metal plugs of different sizes and plan on just plugging them with that. Figure it's got to look better than having all the open holes.

You can get chrome buttons. I used one in the hole where the passenger windshield washer line goes through. The driver side hole is where I put my purge outlet.
