Yup, Walter, that is a possibility. I decided to go all the way with the engine chrome kit, and even chromed my air cleaner... It is whatever flops your mop!

Ditzler was the original paint manufacturer. The color is called Goldenrod yellow.

I normally keep things stock so yes I keep the valve covers yellow. The Edelbrock 1406 has an electric choke.

I used a large rubber o ring from a power steering kit that I had. It was about 1/8" thick and fit perfect between the carb air horn and air cleaner. It was just enough to keep it from hitting the fuel line. Edelbrock also sells a plastic spacer.

Squarebirds never had tonneau covers from the factory. They were being made a few years ago but I haven't seen any in awhile. The ones I remember seeing didn't look like they fit that well.
