    1959 wheel size.

Can someone tell me the bolt spacing on the 14 inch wheel for a 1959 galaxie, as well as the width of the wheel. I want to replace the rims I have with the correct wheels and hubcaps. Thanks.

The bolt spacing is 5 x 4.5. The width is 5.5. The correct rims for full size Fords and Thunderbirds are non vented.

Thanks for the info. Can you tell me what non vented rims means. Are these rims hard to find. Are there after market ones being manufactured?

Non vented means they are solid without any vent holes or slots. They are pretty difficult to find. Some of our members who have converted to disc brakes may have them laying around as they don't work with discs. You can use later 14" rims from a Ford Ranger or Aerostar. The stock hubcaps will fit fine and you won't see a difference once they are on.
