    Weatherstripping

I am thinking of replacing the weatherstripping on the doors and vent windows on my 62 Landau coupe. I was wondering how difficult this job is and if anyone tackled it themselves. Any insight would be appreciated. Do I need special tools, etc...

    Thanks

Neither job is all that difficult. You will need some 3M weatherstrip adhesive to do the door seals. You will have to remove the vent glass to install new vent seals. They are just screwed in place. You don't need any special tools. The shop manual has detailed instructions. If you don't have one you can borrow mine since you are close by.

Thanks John for the advice. I am just in the "thinking about it" stage at this point. Thanks also for the manual offer.
