    Trunk Lamp Cover

    1961 Convertible:

I replaced my Trunk Light with a fresh bulb, and it works. There to each side of the lamp, there is a hole where it looks like a lamp lens would mount.

I am checking all the catalogs and the manual, but I am not seeing if there is a lens that goes over the bulb assembly.

Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a lens there? If so, can you help me with where to source one?

There were two styles of trunk lights. One used one mounting screw and one used two mounting screws. The two holes you are seeing is for the style that used two mounting holes. There was never a lens over the bulb.

      Got it.

      Thanks!

By the way I easily got the heater blower cover off, painted and remounted. Starting to look pretty good!
