Fuel door on continental kits

I am finally getting around to installing my continental kit. my car is turquoise with a white top. i am having the face plate painted to match the top. i am trying to decide what to do the fuel door. I am thinking about having it chrome plated. What have other people done? Body color?

I cut a piece of steel to fit the opening and then had it chrome plated.
