I have the power steering pump on the work bench all hoses brackets and bolts are off how does the housing come off, would look in the shop manual but its in the T Bird 50 miles away
My guess is all 65s and up for several years. Some research by looking up parts numbers at rockauto should work. The big thing is the brackets, and an AC car will probably have a different set up.
Installed a new power steering pump and while the car is on the lift idling, with wheels off the ground the wheels go to the right on their own.....anyone else experience this or know the cause
Before you start tearing things apart I would check it on a flat pavement with your hands off the wheel and see if it pulls to the right. Did you make sure you got all the air out of it and the belt is tight enough.
