Check out the fuzzy dash w/ wood trim and trunk. And those taillights.Other than that she's all stock.Drives better than my convert.
    Chromes nice,orig. 352 w/2bbl. New clutch.
    First things to fix are...
    Speedo,gas gauge,and linkage.
Has some rust in quarters and bottom of doors, nothing major.I'll take care of that this summer.

That is the yellow color I wish Ford had painted their cars in back then, instead of that Casino Cream mine is. Nice looking car, and what a price you got it for! Good luck with it.

            Thanks,
Rumor has it that a previous owner worked for the highway dept. and had access to the yellow paint. He did a pretty good job .Trunk, jams etc.
Though I do like the Casino cream, thats the orig. color for my convert. way before I got it.

ElGuapo to say you got an excellent deal would be an understatement, as from the pixs she looks pretty good. That is a unique colour yellow and with the savings on the purchase you can bring it up to speed in no time. Congrats on the new addition and also for the pixs at the Ford dealership car show. We have a local Ford dealership here in Calgary that holds one every August and we get about 100 TBirds plus some guest cars.

                Thanks Dano,
One of the best things about going to these car shows are the contacts you meet. The gentleman with the white 60 in the show pix. is the guy I bought the car off of.He knew she'd get a good home and be appreciated.

I congratulate you on a wonderful deal. In Australia that would sell for close to $15K USD. Personally, I like that yellow and it certainly wont blend into the background at car shows.

I look forward to watching her(?) evolve.

There are some great names for varieties of banana's if you wanted to go that that route:
'Lady Finger' - hmm, perhaps not
'Robusta' - now that describes most birds pretty well
'Mysore' - describes most of our wallets after we buy birds
'Poovan' - the Malaysian name for the Mysore variety, and would describe a lot of the cars I had as a kid , and yes it is a true name

"'Mysore', also known as 'Fillbasket' and 'Poovan', is the most important banana type of India, constituting 70% of the total crop. It is sparingly grown in Malaya, Thailand, Ceylon and Burma."
