Having just turned the 2020 Squarebirds calendar over to the Month Of February, I am looking at the drop dead gorgeous Thunderbird Green 1956 Tbird of VTCI President & Squarebirds.org member, Rod Wake ~ Rod Wake. Here is that photo.

The Tbird Of The Month for March was a no brainer for me this year! With March being the month for Bluebonnet and Indian Paint Brush flowers in this part of Texas, the decision was easy to make. When I saw the pictures that Danny & Kathy Varella sent me of their gorgeous 1966 Turquoise Convertible Flairbird you will see why I made that choice. BTW, for those who do not know it, the February Of The Month 1956 Babybird owner, Rod Wake, is the present VTCI President and a member of this Forum, as many other VTCI members and leaders are also... Here it is the month of May already and I am looking at one of the rarest of 1958 Tbirds, the Beautiful White 1958 Squarebird Convertible of Carl Heller ~ partsetal to us on the Forum. Because production of the 1958 Squarebird did not begin until December 20th, 1957, though it was introduced on February 13, 1958, it started out several months late in production. Part of it was probably due to the switch over from the smaller, 2 seater 1955-1957 Babybirds being built at Wixom, to the larger 4 passenger Squarebird. As a result only 2,134 Convertibles were ever made, out of the 37,892 total 1958 Squarebird production. Making it one of the rarest early Squarbirds made. I was going to post the picture but I just got an error that we are missing a file and I was not able to post pictures by using the Camera icon, or the Upload Attachments method. I am notifying Dave of the problem... I will post the picture later after he gets this fixed. I think that explains why there was no picture posted in another post in another thread by one of our users...
