how to test a voltage regulator in a 62

My generator light stays on all my grounds our good. I even polarized the regulator also still on. What do I need to do next. Iam getting voltage on the b terminal of the regulator reading 12.65 volts. Could the problem be the contact points inside of the regulator. Please help. Larry

Hey Larry,
Go to search button in black bar above. Type in generator light. Scan pages till you find generator light on steady dated 8-12-2007. Very good detail of how it works and what to check.
