    Adventures Of Tom Sawyer..errr..Taylor Continue..

The Adventures of Tom and Christine continue on a Saturday. Here is what he had to say, followed by some pix!

    "Hi All,
Went for a trip up Skippers Canyon today in the Brumby, another couple in a Nissan 4X4 went with us.
A great trip on a rough narrow road that at times has a 500 foot drop straight down into the river if you get it wrong!
    Now in Queenstown for dinner.
Battery on phone is about to die so catch y’all later. Tom".

    Winter Arrives In New Zealand!

    "Hi y’all,
Pic taken at 7am when Chris and I were on our morning walk.
Summer finished with a bang and we jumped straight into winter - snow on the higher country, hail down here, strong winds around the country and temperatures in the mid 30’s.
    Off to have breakfast now,
Love from chilly and wet Balclutha, Tom".

    Here is that pic!

After his many trips Tom took time to wash his '66 Flairbird and here is what he had to say and a few pix...

"Hi Ray, I washed the Thunderbird today and was so pleased that I thought I’d send you these random photos of it! The 390 ‘badge’ is one I got the local signwriter to make up for me, I got tired of people asking “what size is the motor?” - now I have to put up with “Thunderbird huh - who makes them?”!! (They were never sold new here in NZ, all the Thunderbirds here have been privately imported) It will be great to actually meet you in person about four weeks, I’m looking forwards to it! Regards, Tom"

Tom, it will be great to meet ya'll and Leonard & Deb! I am looking forward to showing you around my fair City. I have always loved the long winged Tbird on the '66! They shudda put it on the '64 & '65 also! Here are those pix Tom sent me.

If you do the Riverwalk with Ray in San Antonio Tom, see if he can get Juan the Admiral of the Riverboat Fleet to be your host. Ray and our motley group of four spent the entire cruise doubled over in laughter.

        Enjoy your trip!

That sounds great but I’ll leave it to Ray to decide what fun places we will visit!, maybe he has already got the Riverwalk on the list!
