    mystery horn beep

After 2 months of sitting on jackstands I was finally ready to set the tires back on the ground last night. As I moved the wheels so that they were straight, my horns suddenly started a constant beeping. What is really mysterious is that the horn didn't work at all when I unloaded the car off of the carrier 2 months ago. Luckily I had a quick disconnect on the battery and solved that problem (temporarily). I guess I now have to chase down a short in the steering column wire. Can this wire be easily replaced?

Of course, I also now found out that I have an exhaust manifold leak, the temp gauge is broke, and the brakes require 2 feet of hard stomping to stop. My '57 Bird with P/B worked much easier than that. My next fear is that the under dash P/B unit needs a rebuild.

Please pass the Prozac and the Jack Daniel's.
