Has anyone evered ordered a engine from Nappa or autozone or Advance auto parts or a federated store I would like to here from you. I have a 1962 t-bird myself with several cracks outside of the freeze plugs. Larry

Larry I would agree with RustyNCa that it would be highly improbable that you would locate, a 352 at those type of automotive companies. The main reason being inventory & $$ they would tie upo and not be able to sell. You are better off to network with the local Thunderbird Club in your area or take the time to go to swap meets where you might find one in good shape. Failing that the TBird Ranch who recently parted out several of his birds.Dano Calgary,Alberta Canada

how far from you to Duluth?
"I have a perfect running 390 Ford in a 1972 20' motorhome, 61k miles, hear it run. I'm parting the Champion motorhome also. Mike 721-4631 If you can't call don't contact me, too many idiot scammers that are too lazy to get a real job. "
He has it listed for $450.
Here is one listed in Dayton
I bought the 390 in my 58 from a local guy off craigslist for $700, came with a new eldebrock intake, new water pump, oil pump all new in box(NIB) an eldebrock cam just installed, etc. I took it home, pulled the intake and valve covers, looked pretty good, dropped it in the car and went down the road. Next time though, I would also drop the pan and replace the rear main etc.
But the motor runs great and if I get say 5 years out of it I am still happy.....
If you don't know motors well, or how to read people and what they are selling, find a friend that does and take them along....Last edited by RustyNCa; July 23, 2009, 03:17 PM.Comment
