    Convertible top linkage

    59 convertible

Does anyone have a picture of how this bolts to the raise mechanism and particular focus on this link pin?

    Thanks...

Did you check the 1958 top adjustment book in the Technical Resource Library. It has detailed pictures of the top linkage.

Excellent thought and I found enough detail to answer the immediate question. Thank you..

Your welcome. I've had that book in my library for about 40 years and have used it many times.

          '59 convertible top

I restored/renewed my entire '59 convertible top assembly. I probably have pictures of some of the stuff I encountered. I did put in a new hydraulic pump, rams, and hydraulic lines. The old stuff had leaked badly under the rear seat and into the trunk. Let me know if you need anything. KMc

Did you remove the pump and rams as a unit or individually. I have all new hoses and haven't really thought out my approach yet...

I removed and installed the rams/pump as a unit. I filled the pump and pre-bled it before I put it back on. I still had to bleed the system when I installed it but not as much.
