Can you believe I just bought a 64 Landau?

I went and looked at it last night. It needs some work, but I am hoping I can get it running, cleaned up and going for a decent amount. Guy's son used it as a daily driver till 3 years ago when the boy started chroming everything under the hood and then left for school.

Here is the data plate info.

    63B S 83 06M 02 1 4

It currently is a Black Top, White Body, White Leather Interior, A/C, Pwr Window car. I think it's supposed to be a dark green.

It has a recently rebuilt motor from a local shop I know and trust, a eldebrock manifold and carb still in the box, all the original stuff is there.

So my son I will keep either this one, or the white 65, whichever is the better car, and sell the other one.

So, my tbird count now stands at 5 cars

    58 HT
    59 HT
    64 Landau
    65 HT
    65 Special

then add in my other cars, yikes,

    68 Olds Cutlass Convt
    71 Jeep CJ5
    97 Chevy Suburban
    00 Chevy Camaro SS Convt.

Wow.. getting quite a fleet there ! I like the 65-66's for the disk brakes and more frills, but the 64 is the ONLY year that SAYS Thunderbird on all four sides.. (trivia)

Another nice find - congrats! Looks like it's in nice, straight condition. Good luck with getting it cleaned up and going (the second most fun part)!

Well, I pulled the valve covers and intake and found a very clean engine. Looks like if they even ran it after the rebuild it wasn't very much.
