    Custom Bullet Bird at SEMA

Check out this custom from the SEMA show in Vegas:

I wish I knew more about it, but that image is all I got. I saw it on Autoblog in this post, but there are no details. Anyone else see it?

DGS I had a buddy that said he saw this bullet bird and it looked like a Jetson car straight out of the movies. The good thing is THUNDERBIRD AND SEMA great exposure.

Another post on it at Autobog, including a photo gallery. More T'bird publicity!

Also discovered the car started as a '61, is called Thunder Flight and has its own web site including sketches and photos, both build photos and completed.

The web site said the idea is that it's a hypothetical Ford show car that never was from the 60's, started with big fins and when the trend turned away from fins it was never completed. So you're friend was not far off!

Anyone know what those fins came off of? I was thinking '60 Caddy, but I'm not sure.

DGS thanks for the links. It's quite an incredible concept and reading the website certainly had some thought put into it.I would agree with your Caddy fins, as they appear to stand very tall off the back end.
