      Thanks

      Hi all,
      I bought a 1960 Thunderbird last Saturday.
It is not in too bad of shape. no dents, some rust, floors are solid with some surface rust. I am amazed how nice the dash, console and doors panels are; no cracks.
The bad part is the flatbed towing crunched in the driver door with a strap. A bunjee cord would have held the door shut. What were they thinking? Anyway. the towing company is going to make good on it. I just need to find a door for them to pay for.

I posted pics in photo bucket under TXCurbster. Just look for the album on the Left menu.

      This is my fourth Thunderbird. I had a 1969 and I still have a 1995 and a 1996 Tbird.

This site will be handy for my as I have two Y Blocks and a few FE's. Cool site!

      Thanks,

      Rich

It's not much to look at.

Below is the door damage done by the flatbed operator.

            Welcome, txcurbster !!

Hi Rich! Thanks for the pix! She needs some work, of course, but she looks doable. Another one saved from the crusher! Do you have your Tbirds registered with the Thunderbird Registry? If not you can go here to John Rotella's website to register them or find out if they are already registered by a previous owner. Here is the link. Please adjust your pix in Photobucket to 800x600 and repost them. 800x600 is the max we like to see for pix. Thanks and good luck with restoring her!
