    Exh/Manif Question

So, I'm sure this one has been asked and answered here
    before. I just can't remember.

Will the Galaxie style hi-perf 390/406 style exh manifs
    work in a squarebird?
Seems I saw a pic of one awhile back. Maybe even
    on fleabay.
An ol buddy from yrs ago wants to put a 410 in his 59
    using those manifs.

    I'm thinkin a 410 would be a bomb !!!

I cannot say for sure and the photo you saw was the supposed 60 BIRD 352CI 360HP shown here a while back. The BIRD uses the constrictive log type exh manifolds mainly due to room. I would imagine the shorties could be made to fit with some apron/rail massaging.

The shorties were released for full size cars (body on frame not unibody).

Thanks. A long time ago there were posts on this.
A member "Franco"? sent me some pics of headers
on his. That might be the answer.
The Galaxie/Merc body has room to spare.
My concern with the TB is the clearance (or lack of)
on the LH side (steering gear).

      I'm sure a 410 would run like a stripe'd *** banchee
with even log manifs on it.

I'd like to have that combo 410/C6 in mine.
(Like the 390 isn't fast enough - Ha ha !!!!)

If someone has done this, I would surely like to see the details.

They are nice and with a suitable exhaust system will really wake the engine up.
