I had to remove my radiator (again) for a leak (again) and found the rubber hoses from the transmission cooler lines dry rotted. The lines themselves have several nicks and dents, so its time for new ones. I saw that Larry has new ones, but due to the size, the shipping will probably be exorbitant high. I´m thinking in using new tubes, and put two pieces of rubber, transmission fluid resistant, hoses on the lines with clamps. Its that way on my jeep as well, so should not be a problem. The lines only should have a small rim, to make it more difficult for the hoses to come of.

I have an important question. How much pressure can your radiator take?
Radiators are very thin. That means your transmission cooling lines are very low pressure. If you need new hoses, simply cut the old ones off and install new rubber with hose clamps. - DaveMember, Sons of the American Revolution

I was thinking about this Dave, but the lines have several nicks, dents and wear spots, so i prefer to change the hard lines as well, to prevent any future leaks.sigpicFrank
