Is this the 58 that was recently for sale near Atlanta Georgia? Hope that you'll be able to post more info about the car, options, date, consecutive number and it's history, what is known.
Does the car appear in the Thunderbird Registry and is current with your information.
Great car, enjoy it often!Ken

Hey thanks for the note, new to the forum life and was excited to fish out a few responses to my new girl! She is a rare one (I'm told)beautiful and gettin better as we speak. I believe the color is a winsted white and I actually had to hunt down a 4th matching hub for the left rear. For now all match but have hopes for wire and www.
Will update soon.
Good day,

Hey Ken TY for the note. It is the car from Georgia, Buckhead to be exact. Great seller, very easy and as descibed. She is very nice and gettin better as we speak. Unloaded here and bedded her straight to the tranny shop as suggested and found that the throttle linkage to be "makeshift" and was not allowing her to shift out of 1st. Immediately, thank God, found used one out of Birdsnest if I can recall and had it in within the week. off I went and enjoyed a few more small jaunts till fuel pump. Replaced it and with SSlines throughout and good to go! since Dec been in resto just to go thru "mechanically" and so far so good. Cosmetics are next winter project. Interior is great and top working and body is gonna get a buffing for now. Haven't hit the registry yet but will get her in. Any words of wisdom Im open.
Take care and thanks again for the post!

Hello and TY for the post. I believe as mentioned earlier Winsted White as seller stated. Got her in the Fall as dated and out of Georgia.
Now in Mass and in resto shop for the "mechanics". Runs smooth and soooo can't wait for SPRING!!! Killing us here in Mass. Riminds me of the fact that Im a New Englander! Will keep everyone posted on the progress.
Take care

Ray,
This must be the same one that I'm thinking of from an ebay auction. The seller stated the trans shifting issue as a Vacuum problem. I did talk to him and mentioned it was not a vacuum modulator in 1958, but a mechanical linkage.
In his engine compartment pictures I could see the throttle bellcrank mounted on the back left side of the intake manifold was not hooked up/mounted correctly. Mentioned this to him as it not only would affect the shifting, but cautioned it may also cause the throttle to stick. He didn't buy it as his mechanic had already diagnosed it as a vacuum modulator.
Glad you got it sorted out.Ken
