    Power Steeting

The power steering return hose started leaking badly on my 1960. I ordered a new hose with the metal fitting at one end. I assume this just bolts on to the control valve and clamps to the reservor. Anything special I need to know about installing it? I am not a mechanic.
What type of fluid should I be using?
I have heard transmission F is correct. The whole system was rebuilt about 3 years ago and does not leak.

If it is the low pressure (return line) from the valve to the pump, there is simply a hose clamp on the pump end and a flared fitting on the valve end. The high pressure supply side has fittings on both ends to handle the 700 psi needed. If that's the one leaking, you'd have a big mess in short time. Type F is the spec'ed fluid.
