    Hi Anders

Great post, thanks so much for the photos. Looks like an awesome event, these one-make weekends are always impressive. Do participants stay on site, camping etc (love the Tbird and caravan pic), or is there accomodation nearby? For a small population sweden must have a large number of classic cars and hot rods.

What I did in the weekend

Thanks for posting those great pictures, Anders! There has to be a lot of Tbirds in Sweden!

Are you guys gonna let Anders steal the 2010 Squarebirds Calendar cover again this year?! There HAS to be some more group pictures out there taken this year!

Great stuff Anders - would love to have been there! We never see that many T-birds at once in NZ.

What did I do? - I took the valve covers off the 429 in my '55 F100 to re-paint them gold ('poor-mans Moroso covers') and I'm now looking for new reusable gaskets for them, just had the headers and mufflers HPC heat coated and fitting them back on.

Making a 'new-improved' drive-belt cover for my H-D Dynaglide too at the moment - too many large belt-wrecking stones on NZ roads.

And the '66 'bird needs a good grooming - took it to Whitestone Rodders mid-year party in the pouuring rain and haven't washed it yet.

            Saturday...

We went to a wedding at a local Country Club in Johnson City, NY. This building was once owned by IBM and was the home of T.J. Watson, founder of IBM. We live across the river from the town where IBM was born. When I was young, everyone worked at IBM or Endicott-Johnson Shoe factories. Now they're both pretty much gone from this area. Lots of history here tho...

Hi Mike! I will echo what Anders said. I am not a real big fan of a black car, especially in Texas in this heat! However, there is one word that I will say about your Black Beauty and that of Bart's... Elegant! Bart's is still available, unfortunately....

The more I look at it, the more I love it. But I do beleve one of the secrets is the shiny paint and those ´59 spiers on the door ( did I spell that right?). I think that piece of chrome just makes it pop. Stunning car indeed!

Thanks all.. I love Black and Chrome, and yeah, black is a tough color to keep clean and it's hot, even in NY. The AC doesn't do a lot but I'll turn it on with the windows down, floor vents open and both wing windows directing air flow on me.
Cruisin' doesn't get much better than that, except maybe in a convertible...

OK, it's the weekend here in NZ, (Saturday morning) I am putting the shiney headers and mufflers back on the F100 and start on the wheelie-bars, - and if the sun comes through the fog I'll get the T-bird out and clean it. (long overdue).
