1959 convertible
Header bows are very hard to find ( including from partsetal) in good condition. I can weld a bit so I took a stab at repairing rustouts. My approach was to start small and find good metal and graft on and then let newer pieces attach and so on. I had to do the entire underside of the bow and both ends of the top. This probably represents 100 amateur hours and still has fine detailing to do. I'll take it to my top installer before final paint to be sure he can live with my results. The good thing is that a stainless cover hides the topside.
