    Sunroof Adjustment

I have a '60 sunroof that I'm trying to adjust. I've checked out the technical article which is great but I still can't get the back of the sunroof to be flush. Both levers are working fine but no matter how I adjust them the back doesn't want to go up. What is the lever supposed to ride on that forces it up.

    Sunroof Adjustment

    Hi John,

I moved your post here because it concerns a Golde Top, and this Forum is set up expressly for Golde Top problems. I have just emailed Rockin' Kev, in England. He has a lot of experience with these Golde Tops, as you will see from his posts on this Forum. I have asked him to check your post and see if he can give you any advice regarding the problem you are having. Good luck with it.

Great. I wasn't aware there was a separate forum. Thanks for forwarding my question.

While waiting for Kev to reply, you might check all the posts below this and click on any one of them that looks like it might have an answer for you. Or use the Search function in the black bar and see if you can find the answer there. The subject might have already been covered.

          Hi,
First check previous post from Alex about roof sliders that will help.
Check to see if the crome handle is worn on its mounting pivit! as you could be losing valuable lifting movement from the height rod adjusters if you crome handle is lose,

Check the nylon ramp sliders are not worn down as this is a home made fix only, these ramps where there to help push the roof up before adjustment is needed.
Before adjusting your roof height at the rear slcken off the roof height adjustment collars at the front first!

Check that the small brass lifters and not worn, and check around for rusted or broken sliders...better still pm me your phone number and i will talk to you, typo is one thing having you sit in your car looking at your roof with me talking to you is much better.

          Kev.
