    Me again-Turn signal help

While I was underneath the dash tracing the defroster cable around and then trying to electrical tape into place for the time being, I shorted my turn signals. I saw a spark and some smoke. I replaced the flasher fuse, but they still don't work. Is there another fuse up there somewhere that I need to replace? Also do you know which one since I'm going to the automotive specialty store today?

    Thanks again,
    CG

There are two fuses on the 1959 and 1960 headlight switch, a SFE-7.5 for the dome light and a 1AG-5 for the turn signal switch.

Smoke is not a good sign, you may have melted the insulator of a wire and caused a permanent short. Let's hope not. You will know you caused a short, because the fuse will immediately burn out the first time you use the signals.

All is well on that front. I changed the fuse and it's working fine....Yeah!
