    Spare 430 Engine Parts

I have some good used original 430 engine parts left over from my rebuild. I hate to throw them in the trash can, but don't know if I should keep them in case anyone might need something in a pinch someday. Not to sell.

I have the original valves, springs, cam, lifters, rocker arms, timing chain, gear and sprocket.

Should I hold on to any of these, or should I toss them?

Bart to chime in on the " toss them or hold them " question. I had the same situation when we rebuilt the 58 and I came up with this solution. Other than the obvious scrap parts, I kept the others for the balance of that year in my garage. Oddly enough over time, there was some need by some of our fellow birders and they eventually disappeared to good homes
Depending if yo h ave the room your choice.

That's the conclusion that I came to last night. I'll just hold on to some of the items and see if they're needed.

      Thanks
