    Fuel Pump Conversion

Our engine (352) has an Airtech fuel pump that is seeping around the large diaphragm flange, and needs replacement. This is the large pump that comes with the vacuum operated windshield wiper model. Our wipers have since been converted to electric. Now, the dumb question. Can we replace the large Airtech with the smaller and cheaper one that came with the electric wiper models? It's a lot cheaper! Thanks

Yes, you can use the pump without the vacuum wipers. I think the Airtex model number is 3450. There are some others that will also work.

Thanks John, that will save some money to spend elsewhere!
