    Just a wild guess, I have not come across these parts yet but I have not installed or checked the fender skirt system yet. So it could have something to do with the fender skirts?

      Do you have the original glove box door brackets. They have a tendency to break and maybe somebody used these as replacements. They're definitely not for the fender skirts.

        Are they connectors for the seat track releases.

            I used them to pull the head liner tight in my hardtop. they hook to the front cross rod and the top of the window frame.

                  I wish I could help Tom. They look eerily familiar but I can't remember either. The shop manual is a big help but it doesn't have everything. For example the clips that George just id'd for us.
